Congratulations to our photo contest winner, Ye Yuan, who submitted, 'Trail at Sunset'.

"My family of three including me, my wife and our son moved to Brookshire community at Klahanie in 2011, and have been living there since. We visit parks in Sammamish quite often because they are conveniently located around the area, providing variety of tranquil nature escapes. There are so many options for both kids and adults. We can take an easy hike on the forest trail breathing the fresh air, or walk by the lake enjoying the view or simply let the kids have a play date at a playground. We feel we are blessed living in Sammamish so close to the mountains, forest and lakes."

Ye Yuan's winning photograph will be featured on the cover of the upcoming Parks & Recreation Guide being released shortly.

Watch for a gallery display at City Hall in the Spring which will feature many of the stunning photographs submitted for the contest. Thank you for participating and we hope you'll take an opportunity to get out and enjoy the trails, parks and open spaces offered in our beautiful city!
