Road Projects for the Week of August 21 - 27
Ebright Creek Fish Passage Project Construction
Road Closure on East Lake Sammamish Parkway: Starting August 16th at 7:00 AM there will be a minimum 3-week closure of East Lake Sammamish Parkway at Ebright Creek (located approximately at 125 E Lake Samm Pkwy) for the Ebright Creek Fish Passage Project.
In order to ensure the road closure and construction will be completed within the planned schedule, the City has granted the contractor permission for extended working hours. The contractor plans to work 7am – 7pm on Thursday, August 19th through Sunday, August 22nd.
Local access north and south of the closure area will be maintained, however thru traffic will not be permitted. Bicyclists and pedestrians can use the East Lake Sammamish Regional Trail to detour around the closure. The closure will allow for completion of the new water and sewer systems, installation of the box culvert, and rebuilding the road. Additional notifications and message boards are posted and a signed detour is in place. Drivers should expect delays and consider using alternate routes.
Due to limited access during the East Lake Sammamish Parkway closure, Republic Services will begin garbage, yard waste, and recycling collection at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, the regular collection day for homes adjacent to the closure. Impacted homes will be receiving calls from Republic on 8/23 and 8/30 as a reminder before pick-up. We ask homes that receive a call to please have your carts out by 6:00 a.m. on August 24th and 31st.
Please visit the project page on Connect Sammamish for the latest updates.
