Please use caution and follow traffic laws (RCW 46.61.183) when driving near a flashing or dark signal, meaning consider the signal an all-way stop.

On-Street Parking Management - SE 24th St

The City of Sammamish is restricting on-street parking on SE 24th St. next to the Beaver Lake Park parking entrance. The City received safety related concerns from the public and accordingly conducted necessary analysis to identify the safety problems and produce the necessary mitigations. The proposed on-street parking restrictions will address sight distance issues and improve safety for drivers and pedestrians alike. Details of proposed mitigations are shown in the illustration below. The new signs will be installed within the next couple of months. Be advised of a new 15 mph slowdown on the curve between SE 24th St and W Beaver Lake Dr..

Striping Maintenance Work

The striping maintenance work was postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions. The City of Sammamish will perform the road striping maintenance work on West Beaver Lake Drive SE and East Beaver Lake Drive SE when weather conditions improve. This type of maintenance work requires dry road pavement. Fresh paint will be laid on top of the existing fog lines and center lines. The limit of work is shown in the map below.

Notices for construction activity outside of the City of Sammamish:

Road maintenance on 244th Ave NE near Redmond Fall City Rd, (SR-202)

This is a King County Local Services Project.

King County Road Services Division is prioritizing 244th Ave NE near SR-202 to receive snow and ice pre-treatment. Due to a slide occurring in winter 2020, both lanes of 244th Ave NE are narrowed until the impacted support wall can be repaired. The repair of the support wall is expected to begin in Summer 2023. Soil samples yielded unexpected data, which caused the design phase to be extended. King County Road Services Division has a 24/7 Road Helpline - (206) 477-8100. More information on this project can be found linked here.
