228th Avenue Curb Ramp Retrofit and Catch Basin Repairs

The City of Sammamish’s contractor has hit substantial completion on the project with only limited items remaining. Only minimal roadway impacts are anticipated for the remainder of work. The project’s curb ramp work is in preparation for the City resurfacing 228th Avenue in 2022 and benefits the City’s ADA Transition Plan goal of retrofitting all public facilities to meet the current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. Traffic closure hours have been tightened through the work zone to 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with traffic merged to one lane.

Additionally, there will be construction traffic on ELSP.
