Issaquah Fall City Road

Issaquah-Fall City Road remains closed for construction between 247th PL SE and Klahanie DR SE. Local access will continue to be maintained between 240th and 247th during the closure. The closure between 247th Place SE and Klahanie Dr. SE will remain until April 16, 2021.

*Safety Reminder – Please observe the contractor’s “Sidewalk Closed” and “No Trespassing” signs at all times.

  • By end of shift Friday, April 9th, the contractor will have removed barrels from the roadway between 240th and 247th. The public will have full use of the roadway (both lanes in both directions) during off-hour times. During work hours the public will encounter short term (day time) lane closures as necessary to complete punchlist work. The significant item of work to be completed after this week is sidewalk in front of the Issaquah Montessori; this is waiting for Utility Companies work to raise their vault lids.
  • By end of shift Friday April 16th, the roadway will open up to the public between 247th PL SE and Klahanie. During work hours the public will encounter short term (day time) lane closures as necessary to complete punchlist work. One of the significant items of work to occur after the opening of the roadway will be third party utilities taking a lane to finish installation of their vaults, lids, and make their necessary connections.
  • By May 1st, all punchlist work is schedule to be completed and traffic control will not be on the road until the contractor returns in June to begin the excavation for the stream mitigation work. We anticipate the third party utilities will be competed with this work by May 1, though this date is subject to change.

Please visit Issaquah Fall City Road Phase 1 Construction Updates and its Three-week look-ahead on Connect Sammamish for full project updates.

Daytime Project work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday Work Hours 9:00 a.m. – 6 p.m.
