Sammamish Family Hopes to Strengthen Community During Coronavirus Pandemic
Sammamish residents, Liz and Nikolai Faaland, wanted to make sure their neighbors knew their family would be there if anyone needed anything during the COVID-19 pandemic.
To assist those who may be in need, the family went around and put their number along with a message on 40 doors in their neighborhood.
The letter read, in part: "We do not have someone high risk living in our home and are able to make store runs. Should you be unable -- or prefer not to go out -- and need something, we're happy to help."
The letter ended with the sentiment, "We're all in this together!"
