Below is your three week look-ahead for 8/14 - 9/4

Update as of 9/4:

Issaquah-Fall City Road remains closed for construction. Local access will be maintained during the closure. The closure between 247th Place SE and Klahanie Dr. SE is still on schedule to last through the end of December 2020.

  1. The roundabout at SE Issaquah-Beaver Lake Rd./256th Ave. SE/SE 32nd St/E Beaver Lake Dr. SE is operational. There will be a contractor completing work on the sidewalks and wheelchair ramps during the week.
  2. Construction of the bridge is underway and on schedule to complete in December.
  3. Between 242nd and 247th Ave. SE, traffic remains on the south side of the roadway.Work continues along the north half of the roadway in this area. The contractor and the utility companies will be working on relocations in these limits. Grading work, concrete curb, and sidewalk placement have been extended due to work related to the underground utilities. The contractor will continue to work at the intersection of 247th Ave. SE near the middle school. Placement of asphalt is occured at the end of August.

Please note that during peak delays, using the project detour route, Issaquah Beaver Lake Road to Issaquah Pine Lake Road, may result in shorter drive times. Please remember to obey all the stop signs and speed limits in the area.

Daytime Project work hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

NOTICE OF NIGHTTIME WORK: Hours are 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. during the nights of August 31 and September 1. Work includes bridge girder delivery and installation. Equipment will consist of two large cranes and semi-truck transports.

  2. Construction of the bridge is underway and on schedule to complete in December. The contractor is working to complete the top beams to the substructure in preparation of the girder installation. The girders for the bridge are being delivered and installed during the week of August 24th. Girder installation will be occurring during the night time hours of August 24-August 28.
