Sammamish Lunar New Year Celebration February 12 - 16, 2021
Join us Virtually in celebrating the Year of the Ox, featuring the diversely talented international community of Sammamish and activities centered around Asian culture and ceremonial traditions. This 5-day event offers daily videos, workshops and live readings on performance, history, crafts and much more. Throughout the 5-day virtual event, videos and workshops will be uploaded daily. There will be chances to win prizes and giveaways each day you when you visit the site. The event is brought to you by: City of Sammamish, Skyline High School Chinese Classes, Sammamish Library, Sammamish YMCA, Sammamish Chinese School and WaHaHa Youth Club.

Celebrate the Year of the Ox with a special World Language Story Time presenter teaching us words and sharing a book in Mandarin! Listen to some Lunar New Year stories and songs as you make your New Year Lantern. You'll have a chance to share your final product with the rest of the group (optional).
A female vocalist, Mi Kyung Park's 1st released album song was performed by a vocal artist, Sandeul.

A rare duet Gayageum performance was demonstrated by two local Seattle residents. It portrayed the cycle of life which consists of the lives of the infant, middle and old age that is perpetuated by agonizing pain, sadness, joy, and happiness.

One of South Korea's well regarded conventional foods is Ramen. This link demonstrates how to cook instant noodles with one of the popular Korean ramens and if you want, you can create your own recipe.

Chương trình vui Xuân sẽ kéo dài 5 ngày, với phim trình chiếu mỗi ngày, những tiết mục học hỏi, đọc sách, trình diễn, lịch sử, thủ công, v.v...Mỗi ngày sẽ có phim ảnh, lớp dạy được tải lên mạng.
